Making movies is expensive.
We could not have made this film without the generous donations from around the world. If you liked the film, why not donate money to the filmmakers. Donations help to keep the website running, to replace the budget dept and to make future films.
It wouldn’t be Middle Earth without conflict and the characters in Born of Hope are not spared from danger. There are a number of fights and battles in Born of Hope with the largest at the climax of the film.
We have had a number of swords and weapons made especially for the film.
Raven Armoury for example has created five unique swords especially for Born of Hope.

It was therefore extremely important that we have proper fight choreography and trained screen combat people involved. Ruth Cooper-Brown and Rachel Bown-Williams from RC Annie are arranging all the fight training and choreography for Born of Hope. We have a dedicated team of combatants and stunt performers who, along with the main actors, will be performing almost all of the fighting throughout the film. This team has had movement workshops and training in the fighting styles seen in the film.
